01
Start with colour, then the cut
Graphics on the black Washington Wizards Statement Edition jersey are applied so they flex, and the Washington Wizards Statement Edition keeps its shape on an adult season after season.
02
What goes into the build
The number and name are applied in a single layer, so there is no raised edge on a Washington Wizards jersey to catch on a jacket zipper. The Washington Wizards colours on this jersey is woven into the knit rather than printed over it, and that is what keeps the edge of the black sharp.
03
Sizing and how it hangs
Hemmed to sit at the hip on the black Washington Wizards Statement Edition jersey, which is the length that works with jeans for an adult. The Washington Wizards Statement Edition jersey in black is cut a little longer in the body than most, which is what stops it riding up when an adult sits down.
04
Where it earns its keep
The black Washington Wizards Statement Edition jersey is what an adult reaches for when the Washington Wizards is on and they are not thinking about an outfit. The Washington Wizards Statement Edition jersey in black works for an adult who is at the game, at the bar afterwards and on the sofa later, and it looks right in all three.
We have made mistakes with sizing before and we have changed how we describe the cut. What is written here about the Washington Wizards jersey is the corrected version.

Questions before you order
How should I store the Washington Wizards jersey?
Folded or on a hanger, away from direct sunlight. Hanging a Washington Wizards colours piece in a bright window is the thing that fades a black faster than washing does.
Does the black Washington Wizards jersey stretch?
There is a small amount of stretch in the knit, so it moves with a sprint and settles back afterwards. It is not a fully elastic fabric, so a Washington Wizards jersey keeps a proper shape rather than clinging.
Can a woman wear the Washington Wizards jersey?
Yes. The cut of the Washington Wizards jersey is standard rather than slim, so it works as a regular fit. For a closer fit, size down one, which gives a neater line through the body without changing the length.
